What is Primal?
Primal play ditches the ceremony of traditional D/s for something rawer: acting on instinct. Think a "hunter" and "prey," growling and chasing, wrestling, pinning, and biting. It's D/s felt in the body rather than negotiated in the head.
People land on a spectrum — the dominant "hunter," the "prey" who loves being caught, or a "primal switch" who flips between. It overlaps with rough play, CNC, and petplay.
