What is Degradation?
Degradation play weaponizes words: harsh names, put-downs, being called filthy things. For the right person it's electric — the surrender of dignity, on purpose, in a safe container. It's the dark mirror of praise, and lots of people want a blend ("you're filthy… good girl").
It runs through humiliation, femdom, and rough primal scenes.
Because it aims straight at the psyche, it needs the clearest negotiation of any verbal kink: which words are hot, which are hard limits, and a genuine aftercare debrief so nothing said in-scene lingers. See our praise vs degradation guide.
